What we know about you, and what we do with it

Effective July 26, 2026 · This is the only version — there is no long one hiding behind it.

What we collect

When you join the list, we store three things: your email address, which form you used, and the time you signed up. We don't ask for your name, your shop, or anything else.

How the promise is enforced

The key embedded in this website can add an email to our list, but it is technically incapable of reading the list back. That restriction lives in the database itself, not in this policy — so even if someone copied everything visible in your browser, they could not see who else signed up.

What we send you

Three kinds of email, and nothing else: the weekly Rising Niches report, the founding-member offer promised on the signup page, and — rarely — a notice that affects the list itself, such as a change to this policy. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

What we never do

The infrastructure, honestly

This site runs on ordinary cloud services acting on our instructions: a hosting provider serves these pages (and, like any web host, keeps standard request logs that include IP addresses), a managed database stores the list, and an email delivery service sends the report. The delivery service keeps standard delivery and engagement records — whether an issue arrived, bounced, or was opened — which we use to make the report better. None of these providers may use your data for their own purposes.

The typefaces on these pages are served by a third-party font service, so your browser requests them directly from that provider, which sees your IP address and browser type. We name categories rather than companies so this policy stays accurate if we ever switch providers — the current ones are visible in this page's source code to anyone curious.

Leaving, and being forgotten

Unsubscribe with one click in any email. If you want your address deleted entirely — not just unsubscribed — email us and we'll remove it from the database, usually within a few days. You can also ask what we hold about you; the answer will be short.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it, and any change that affects what we do with your email will be emailed to the list before it takes effect.
